  • .We invite you to consider Howard as the place to grow creatively and   academically for your middle school experience.  A nationally recognized visual and performing arts magnet school in downtown Orlando, Howard provides an immersion in the arts for students with demonstrated interest and/or ability in the arts.

Howard is a zoneless OCPS magnet school, with 100% of students enrolled through the magnet process. We offer beginning through advanced visual and performing arts courses, and a highly rigorous program of core academics, with most of our students participating in multiple advanced level and/or high school level courses.

While many OCPS schools offer similar classes, our school is designed specifically for students seeking a middle school  experience where the arts are the   primary focus, along with an advanced program of academic study.

We thank you for taking a look to see if Howard is a great fit for you!
